Responsibilities Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately and swiftly Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, balancing cash drawers, and issuing receipts with precision Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and guiding them through product selections Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining attractive product displays to enhance store visual appeal Conduct product demos and upselling to promote featured items and increase sales opportunities Ensure proper merchandising standards are maintained throughout the store, including inventory rotation and cleanliness Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone inquiries or orders Support inventory management by receiving shipments, stocking new products, and conducting regular stock checks Maintain a friendly and professional attitude while supervising or collaborating with team members when needed Engage in basic retail math to handle transactions accurately and ensure cash drawer integrity Able to lift 50 pounds Experience Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided Supervising experience is a plus, especially in overseeing daily store operations or team activities Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail math enhances your effectiveness in this role Bilingual skills are highly valued to assist a diverse customer base effectively Strong communication skills, including clear phone etiquette and customer interaction abilities, are essential Experience in product demos, upselling techniques, merchandising, and stock management will set you apart Prior knowledge of grocery store operations or retail sales transactions contributes to your success in this position Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while keeping our store vibrant and inviting. Pay:

$13.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 40.0 per week
