Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately and swiftly Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, cash drawer management, and balancing registers at shift end Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations Upsell products and promote store promotions to maximize sales opportunities Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining store product knowledge to enhance the shopping environment Conduct product demos when applicable, showcasing features and benefits to customers Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone and handle inquiries professionally Support in supervising team members during shifts, ensuring smooth operations and excellent service standards Experience Previous retail sales experience, preferably in grocery or similar retail environments Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations Demonstrated customer service skills with strong communication abilities Supervising experience is a plus, showing leadership in team settings Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively Basic math skills for handling transactions, retail math for pricing and discounts, and cash drawer handling expertise Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising practices, and grocery store operations is advantageous Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels exceptional service!
