Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service during their visit to the station. Operate cash registers and POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions, including fuel sales, convenience store items, and other products. Handle cash handling duties with precision, including cash drawer management, balancing registers, and processing various payment methods. Assist customers with product demos, upselling items such as snacks, beverages, or automotive supplies to enhance their experience. Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and ensure the convenience store area remains clean, tidy, and well-stocked. Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to answer customer inquiries confidently and promote sales effectively. Follow phone etiquette standards when handling inquiries or taking orders over the phone. Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Requirements Previous retail sales or grocery store experience is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential. Experience with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers. Demonstrated ability to handle cash handling procedures accurately and responsibly. Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude and professional phone etiquette. Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for transactions and inventory counts. Supervising experience or leadership skills are advantageous for potential advancement opportunities. Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
