Shifts for the cashier position would be anywhere from 7am

• 9pm.

Ranging from 4-8 hour shifts. A minimum of 50% weekend availability is required. We offer a great selection of benefits along with attractive wages. Summary:

This position supports the Front End by processing customers transactions and being the last point of contact. Emphasis in this position is on customer service, speed of service and accuracy in ringing. Primary challenge is on providing prompt and courteous customer service and performing cashier functions according to procedures. This position requires good judgment and decision making as well as social skills. Position functions and work hours may vary according to business needs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Assists customers with questions and requests

• Provides product location and information
• Direct customer to proper area or person for further help
• Refers or assists caller properly Cashiering
• Scans and processes customer orders
• Ensures positive customer relations and satisfaction
• Ensures proper handling of tender and coupons
• Follows front end security procedures
• Utilizes proper etiquette for telephone and intercom calls
• Helps with bagging or calls for assistance
• Checks IDs for age restricted sales Assists with Front End cleanliness
• Checks products on register shelves for expiration dates
• Cleans belts
• Stocks grocery bags
• Returns shop back items to shelf
• Assists in other assigned projects by management' '
