The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale (POS) system effectively. A positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment are essential. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed. Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures. Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to assist customers effectively. Stock shelves and ensure the sales floor is organized and clean. Assist in inventory management by reporting low stock levels. Provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations. Skills Proficiency in using POS systems for transaction processing. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and change calculation. Experience in retail math to assist with inventory management and sales tracking. Strong customer service skills to create a welcoming shopping experience. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
