Job Summary Join our dynamic retail team as a Cashier, where your energy and enthusiasm will create a welcoming shopping experience for every customer. In this role, you will be the friendly face at the register, ensuring smooth and efficient retail sales transactions while delivering exceptional customer service. Whether handling cash register operations, assisting with product demos, or supporting merchandising efforts, you'll play a vital role in driving sales and enhancing the overall shopping experience. Responsibilities Operate cash registers accurately, handling retail sales transactions with speed and precision Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly and addressing their needs effectively Manage cash drawer handling, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a friendly approach Assist customers with product demos and answer questions about store merchandise and promotions Stock shelves, organize displays, and support merchandising efforts to keep the store inviting and well-organized Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or in person, ensuring clear communication Support inventory management through stocking and inventory checks as needed Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail environment preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and change calculations Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and sales techniques is beneficial Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while developing your skills in a fast-paced retail environment.
