Duties Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service throughout their shopping or dining experience Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Manage customer orders in food service settings, ensuring quick turnaround and satisfaction Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, following food safety standards and sanitation protocols Upsell products by recommending additional items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing counters, equipment, and dining areas in compliance with health regulations Operate kitchen equipment safely for food handling and preparation purposes Process cash transactions accurately, handle cash register operations, and balance cash drawers at shift end Support food safety management practices by adhering to sanitation standards and proper food handling procedures Contribute to a team environment by collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations in both retail and food service areas Qualifications Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant environments is highly preferred Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash register operations is a plus Culinary experience or food preparation skills are desirable to assist with customer inquiries and food handling tasks Excellent time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently during busy periods Proven ability in sales techniques including upselling and customer service excellence Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation practices is advantageous Experience working in retail or grocery store settings with a focus on food industry standards is beneficial Embark on a rewarding journey where your proactive attitude fuels customer happiness!
