Cashier Duties & Responsibilities:

Operate cash registers and point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently. Process cash, credit/debit card, and other approved forms of payment. Provide receipts, make correct change, and complete customer transactions accurately. Greet customers and provide courteous and professional customer service. Answer basic questions regarding products, services, pricing, and store procedures. Balance assigned cash drawers and report discrepancies according to established procedures. Process refunds, exchanges, or adjustments in accordance with College policies. Maintain an organized and clean checkout area. Assist with stocking, merchandise organization, and customer service activities as needed. Follow all cash-handling, loss-prevention, confidentiality, and College policies.
