Responsibilities Operate the cash register accurately, handling all retail sales transactions with speed and precision Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product information Manage cash drawer handling, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times Upsell products and promote store promotions or special offers to maximize sales opportunities Conduct product demos when appropriate to enhance customer engagement and product understanding Stock shelves and merchandise displays to ensure a neat, organized, and inviting shopping environment Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone inquiries or support calls Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking and merchandising to support store operations Support in supervising team members during busy periods, providing guidance on cashier procedures and customer service standards Qualifications Previous experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems or cashier operations preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in bilingual settings if applicable Demonstrated supervisory experience or leadership qualities in retail environments is a plus Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and retail math for accurate transactions Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for cash handling and sales processing Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions Familiarity with retail sales transactions, cash register operations, and cash drawer handling procedures Ability to stand for extended periods, lift merchandise as needed, and work flexible hours including weekends or evenings Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while developing your retail expertise!
