We are currently hiring a Part-Time Cashier for our bustling Store, where you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth transactions at the checkout counter. Monday/Wednesday 3pm - 10pm & Sun 1pm-9pm.

Position:

Cashier Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and provide friendly assistance throughout their shopping experience. Efficiently and accurately scan items, process payments, and provide correct change to customers. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including bagging items, managing shopping carts, and replenishing supplies as needed. Answer customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide product information as required. Collaborate with management to promote special offers, discounts, and loyalty programs. Follow company procedures for cash handling, refunds, and exchanges. Maintain a high level of accuracy when handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods. Work collaboratively with other cashiers and store staff to ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers. Assist in inventory management by reporting stock levels, replenishing shelves, and organizing merchandise.

Requirements:

Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred but not required. We welcome candidates with a strong passion for customer service and a willingness to learn. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally. Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail to ensure accurate transactions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic point-of-sale (POS) systems. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
