Cashier/Stocker Ebenezer Stop & Shop Inc West Seneca, NY Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $17 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications Retail sales transactions Retail customer service procedures Pricing Bar safety compliance (food service) Merchandising Moving Retail compliance procedures Age verification regulations Full Job Description We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and responsible Cashier/Stocker to join our liquor store team. We want someone who takes their job seriously, provides good customer service, and can be counted on to show up and work. Responsibilities Operate the cash register and accurately process customer transactions Provide friendly and professional customer service Check IDs and follow all laws and store policies regarding alcohol sales Stock shelves, coolers, and displays Receive and put away deliveries Keep the store clean, organized, and presentable Organize and rotate merchandise as needed Assist customers with finding products Help with inventory and pricing Perform opening, closing, cleaning, and other daily duties as assigned Reliability & Attendance

PUNCTUALITY IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT.

Employees are expected to arrive ON TIME and be ready to work at the start of every scheduled shift. Reliable attendance is required. Repeated lateness, leaving early without approval, or excessive call-outs will not be tolerated. Employees must communicate with management as soon as possible if an emergency prevents them from coming to work. Being on time, dependable, and responsible is a basic requirement of this position. Requirements Reliable and punctual Responsible and hardworking Friendly and respectful toward customers and coworkers Able to work independently and as part of a team Able to stand for extended periods and lift/move boxes of merchandise Able to follow store policies and procedures Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred but not required Must comply with all applicable laws regarding alcohol sales We are looking for someone who will show up on time, stay off their phone, work hard, and help keep the store clean, organized, and running smoothly.
