Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process sales transactions accurately and swiftly Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries Handle cash register operations including cash drawer handling, giving correct change, and balancing registers at shift end Conduct product demos when applicable to showcase features and benefits to customers Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance sales opportunities Maintain knowledge of retail store products and merchandising standards to ensure attractive displays Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the sales floor remains inviting and well-organized Demonstrate phone etiquette when managing customer calls or inquiries professionally and courteously Support supervising staff during busy periods or special events to ensure smooth store operations Experience Previous cashier experience in a retail environment preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations essential for success in this role Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly valued for engaging diverse customers effectively Experience in retail sales transactions, cashiering, or retail math helps streamline daily tasks Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and merchandising enhances customer interactions and sales performance Ability to handle cash handling procedures accurately while maintaining excellent phone etiquette and customer service standards Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering memorable shopping experiences!
