Duties Operate the cash register (POS system) accurately to process retail sales transactions, including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments Handle cash drawer operations with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and balancing at the end of each shift Assist customers with product inquiries, provide product demos when applicable, and recommend additional items through upselling techniques Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, restock supplies, and ensure merchandise is properly displayed through merchandising efforts Support inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and assisting with product replenishment Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries Engage customers with friendly communication skills, promote store promotions, and encourage loyalty program sign-ups Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail environment is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is highly desirable Supervising experience or leadership roles in retail or customer service settings are a plus Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are an advantage for serving diverse customers Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations confidently Knowledge of retail store product lines, merchandising principles, and inventory procedures is beneficial Experience in upselling, product demos, or promoting sales initiatives will help you excel in this role Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service!
