VRG manages the full lifecycle of each project, from initial concept through ongoing optimization and profitability. Role Description The Store Cashier is a full-time, on-site role located in Bethlehem, PA. In this position, the Cashier will greet guests, handle customer orders, operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, and process payments accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities include managing cash and card transactions, issuing receipts, and ensuring proper cash handling and register balancing at the beginning and end of shifts. The Cashier will assist with basic food service or product preparation, maintain a clean and organized counter and work area, and support adherence to safety and sanitation standards. The role also involves answering guest questions, resolving minor concerns, and contributing to a positive, team-focused work environment. Qualifications Ability to handle cash, card, and digital transactions accurately, reconcile registers, and follow cash-handling procedures. Strong customer service skills, including friendly communication, active listening, and a professional, courteous demeanor with guests and colleagues. Basic POS and computer literacy, with the ability to learn new systems and follow established operating procedures. Reliability in attendance and punctuality, with the ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Capacity to stand for extended periods, lift light to moderate loads, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Prior experience in retail, food service, or hospitality is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.
