Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cashier & Stocker, where you'll be the friendly face and efficient organizer behind the scenes at Beltzville Beverage. You'll play a vital part in creating a welcoming shopping environment, ensuring products are well-stocked and ready for customers to enjoy. Duties Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product information to enhance their shopping experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for cashiering transactions, including cash handling and processing payments Assist with stocking shelves and coolers, organizing products, and maintaining attractive displays Upsell products by suggesting complementary items and promoting special offers to boost sales Maintain phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or coordinating with team members Skills Proficiency with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate transactions and inventory management Ability to perform merchandising tasks Strong communication skills to engage customers professionally and coordinate with team members Knowledge of beer distributor operations, including stocking, cash handling, and retail sales procedures Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and patience for resolving issues Familiarity with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment Ability to lift 25-50lbs often, and occasionally 175lbs.
