Cashier Duties & Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting every customer, being friendly, approachable, and genuinely helpful Provide fast, accurate checkout while maintaining a positive and upbeat attitude at all times Stay visible at the front end to welcome customers into your line and assist with any questions or needs Accurately handle cash, card, and other transactions while maintaining register accountability Bag groceries efficiently and assist customers with placing items into carts when able Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked front-end area throughout your shift Actively face and straighten shelves, coolers, and displays to keep the store looking full and shop-ready Retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot and keep cart areas organized and accessible Assist with restocking, merchandising, and general store upkeep as needed Be proactive—stay busy, take initiative, and look for ways to improve the customer experience at all times Work as part of a team to create a positive, high-energy store environment Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations and maintain store standards Expectations Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism at all times Be reliable, dependable, and ready to work as part of a team Take pride in your work and contribute to a clean, organized, and welcoming store Must have open availability this is a requirement. Experience a plus but willing to train the right person.
