Job Description
Corner Pantry in Hermosa, SD is hiring full time cashiers. We are looking for friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Cashiers to join our convenience store team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, can multitask in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service. Main Duties Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. Operate the cash register and process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately. Stock shelves, coolers, and displays. Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and well stocked. Check identification for age-restricted purchases in accordance with company policies and local laws. Assist with inventory, receiving deliveries, and rotating stock. Prepare coffee and other self-service food and beverage areas as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Answer customer questions and resolve concerns courteously. Perform opening, closing, and other assigned store duties. Qualifications Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred but not required. Strong customer service and communication skills. Basic math and cash-handling abilities. Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
