Responsibilities Operate cash registers and POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately during retail sales transactions Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and process returns with precision and integrity Assist customers with product inquiries, provide product demos when appropriate, and upsell items to enhance their shopping experience Maintain a well-organized cash drawer, perform daily cash handling procedures, and ensure proper balancing at shift end Stock shelves, merchandise displays, and assist with inventory management to keep the store visually appealing Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions clearly, and maintaining professional phone etiquette Support merchandising efforts by promoting store products and assisting with product knowledge sharing Experience Prior cashiering or retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery or convenience store environments Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership roles in retail settings is a plus Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions Strong communication skills in bilingual settings are advantageous for serving diverse customers Experience in stocking, merchandising, product demos, upselling techniques, and retail store product knowledge is highly valued Ability to handle cash drawer handling responsibly while maintaining accuracy in cash handling procedures Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with retail sales transactions enhances your fit for this role Join us to bring energy into every customer interaction!
