The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing cash register operations, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. This role involves interacting with customers, taking and processing orders, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all patrons. Duties Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently during transactions Greet customers warmly upon arrival and assist them with their orders Take customer orders in person, ensuring accuracy and clarity Handle cash, credit, or digital payments securely and responsibly Pack orders for takeout or delivery as needed Take orders to tables for dine-in customers when required Maintain cleanliness of the cashier station and surrounding area Keep the work area organized and stocked with necessary supplies Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly Requirements Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred but not mandatory Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor Ability to operate a cash register and handle monetary transactions accurately Good organizational skills to keep the work area clean and orderly Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as packing orders Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings if needed Basic math skills for handling transactions and giving correct change This position offers an engaging environment where attention to detail, customer focus, and teamwork are valued.
