This role combines customer service excellence with critical vehicle and safety inspections, ensuring compliance with state regulations and maintaining high standards of operational integrity. As a key representative of our organization, you will engage directly with customers and oversee vehicle inspections, providing a positive experience while upholding safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to community safety and automotive standards in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet customers warmly, process transactions efficiently, and handle cash register operations with accuracy Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, including checking mechanical systems, tires, electrical components, and body condition to ensure compliance with state regulations preferred but not required Utilize hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment to assist in vehicle assessments and minor repairs is plus Assist in auto parts and accessories identification, recommending necessary repairs is plus Uphold customer service standards by providing knowledgeable guidance on automotive parts, repairs, and inspection procedures is plus Ensure all safety protocols are followed during heavy lifting or mechanical work to prevent accidents or injuries Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical equipment safely and effectively is plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Mechanic experience or background in automotive service is plus Bilingual is plus.
Pay:
