Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns. Assist with product demonstrations and upselling items to enhance the shopping experience. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area while ensuring all merchandise is properly stocked and displayed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations, including supervising junior staff when necessary. Utilize retail math skills to manage transactions and assist with inventory management as needed. Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or concerns over the phone. Requirements Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred, particularly in a grocery store setting. Strong basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and cash handling. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances customer interactions.
