Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and attentive Gas Station Attendant/Cashier to provide excellent customer service at our retail location. This role involves managing transactions, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, basic math proficiency, and experience in retail sales or grocery store operations. Bilingual abilities and supervisory experience are a plus, as well as familiarity with POS systems and upselling techniques. This position offers an opportunity to develop retail and customer service skills in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate POS systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures Assist customers with product inquiries, product demos, and upselling relevant items Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure proper merchandising standards Maintain cleanliness of the store area including counters, shelves, and restrooms Monitor inventory levels and assist with stocking products as needed Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with store policies Supervise or assist in supervising other team members when necessary Promote store promotions and special offers to increase sales Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales, grocery store, or gas station environment preferred Strong communication skills and phone etiquette Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations Ability to operate POS systems efficiently Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Supervising experience is desirable but not required Friendly demeanor with excellent customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of merchandising, stock management, and product demos is advantageous Reliable with good work ethic and punctuality
