ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

There is no formal education requirement for this position Must have the physical stamina to stand/walk for long periods (up to 8 hours per day) while meeting and talking to people Comfortable with, knowledgeable of, and enthusiastic about discussing topics related to progressive politics, advocacy, and public policy Flexibility to work weekdays and/or weekends Consistently meet daily and weekly registration goals Excellent communication skills including active listening and interpersonal skills Ability to work within a team and independently based on employer requirements Good time management skills to fulfill goals within a specific period Ability to travel to the office at the start of each shift Possession of a smart phone with a data plan

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous paid or volunteer canvass or fundraising experience (including door-to-door sales work, Census outreach work, etc.) Telemarketing or retail marketing experience Social service or organizing experience Ability to market effectively and persuade individuals Excellent customer service skills
