Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and friendly Front Desk Fitness Associate to serve as the welcoming face of our fitness facility. This is a part-time position with opportunities for additional hours, growth, and advancement within our team. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, assist members and visitors, and ensure a smooth, positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to health, wellness, and exceptional customer service Responsibilities Greet members, visitors, and staff with a warm, professional attitude to create an inviting atmosphere Check members in and provide outstanding customer service including addressing questions or concerns with professionalism and clarity. Give tours to prospective members and confidently sell gym memberships and personal training packages. Answer questions about memberships, services, and promotions. Assist members with basic machine and equipment usage when needed. Process memberships, retail purchases, drinks, and other transactions using our computer system. Keep the reception area and gym clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout your shift, including wiping down equipment, organizing weights, and maintaining common areas. Help create a positive, motivating atmosphere for members and staff. Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and assist with scheduling as needed. Qualifications Previous experience working at a gym or fitness facility is strongly preferred. Passion for health and fitness with a good understanding of gym equipment and basic exercise techniques. Sales experience or confidence in closing membership and personal training sales is preferred. Comfortable using computers and learning gym management software. Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask in a busy environment. Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Must be friendly, professional, respectful, and committed to providing exceptional customer service. Personal training, group fitness instruction, coaching experience, or a fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, etc.) is a plus, but not required.
