Available shifts:

Tuesday 1:00pm-9:00pm (or two 4-hour shift), Wednesday 5:00pm-9:00pm, Thursday 1:00pm-5:00pm, Friday 3:00pm-7:00pm, and Sunday 1:00pm-5:00pm Now hiring one or more staff members to cover these available shifts!

Requirements:

The Membership Services Associate must provide a high level of customer service and project a positive and well-informed image
Possess certification in First Aid and CPR, to be maintained throughout employment, or achieve them within 3 months of employment
Must be professional in all situations including maintaining confidentiality of member's data
Must be able to effectively organize and prioritize while working under pressure, making decisions of different circumstances or situations
Excellent communication, written and computer skills that includes Microsoft office suite
Experience with the Core program a plus

Duties and Responsibilities :

Manages all communications to the front desk with hand held radios and phones
Supervise access to YMCA facility including monitoring scanner, and registering guest's non-member entry
Register members for programs and classes including taking payments, filling out paperwork and entering into computer system
Membership sales including touring potential members, providing them with accurate program and membership information
Assist with Membership renewals
Be familiar with and prepared to handle all emergency situations should they arise
Handle Members' concerns in a prompt and professional manner
Communicate with key program staff on a regular basis
