We are looking for a professional who enjoys working with people to join our team in Red Wing, MN. We are looking for a service-oriented individual to fill a Member Service Representative position. As a Member Service Representative you will assist our members and potential members with their Credit Union needs; by opening new accounts, processing consumer loan requests and various member service duties.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Our Member Service Representatives are career driven individuals who provide our members a variety of transactions services including loan processing, closing and disbursal. Must be comfortable using and supporting the use of modern banking technology. Open new accounts and service existing accounts. Set up new account files and provide members with all necessary information for membership. Handle requests from members for transfers of shares to loan payments, share withdrawals, check requests, CD transactions, lines of credit advances, and any other requests received from members.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience - one to three years of similar or related experience in member services Education - a two-year degree/post high school education or training preferred buy not required

Interpersonal Skills:

Confident and articulate communication is an essential element of the job. Work involves considerable personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining confidential information, and building relationships.
