Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Membership Sales Counselor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for potential members, providing exceptional customer service and promoting our membership offerings. You will play a crucial role in enhancing member satisfaction and driving sales through effective communication and relationship-building skills. Responsibilities Engage with potential members to promote membership benefits and services. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the value of membership. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems. Maintain an organized environment while supervising membership sign-up processes. Utilize basic math skills for transaction processing and inventory management. Communicate effectively with members and staff, ensuring a positive experience. Demonstrate phone etiquette when responding to member inquiries or concerns. Assist in grocery store promotions and events as needed to drive membership engagement. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance member retention. Qualifications Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences. Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient cash handling processes. Experience in supervising or leading teams is a plus. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this will enhance member interactions. Prior experience in grocery store environments is beneficial but not required.
