This position is responsible for managing inventory, placing product orders, maintaining attractive and properly priced displays, checking expiration dates, and keeping both the inside and outside of the property clean and presentable. The ideal candidate takes pride in keeping things organized, notices when something needs attention, and is comfortable taking ownership of daily store appearance and inventory needs. Key Responsibilities Inventory & Ordering Monitor inventory levels throughout the store and identify products that need to be reordered. Place product orders to maintain appropriate stock levels and prevent out-of-stock items. Receive, organize, and properly stock incoming merchandise. Maintain accurate product inventory and communicate shortages or inventory concerns to management. Monitor high-volume and frequently purchased items to ensure they remain consistently available. Shelf & Product Management Keep shelves, coolers, displays, and merchandise areas fully stocked and organized. Front-face and straighten products regularly to maintain a clean, organized appearance. Check expiration dates and remove expired or damaged merchandise according to company procedures. Ensure all products are properly priced and that shelf tags/signage are accurate and up to date. Maintain attractive product displays and ensure merchandise is easy for customers to find. Store Cleanliness & Grounds Maintenance Maintain cleanliness of all indoor customer and employee areas. Keep floors, counters, shelves, coolers, displays, and other store areas clean and presentable. Keep the exterior grounds clean and free of litter and trash. Regularly inspect the parking lot, sidewalks, entrance areas, and fuel island for trash and debris. Gather trash and ensure all trash receptacles are emptied and properly taken to the designated disposal area. Keep all fuel pumps, pump areas, and surrounding surfaces clean and presentable. Clean and maintain the areas around the fuel pumps and storefront throughout the day as needed. Address spills, debris, or other cleanliness issues promptly and notify management of any maintenance or safety concerns. Daily Expectations The Inventory & Store Maintenance Associate is expected to: Keep shelves consistently full, faced, and organized. Make sure products have correct and visible pricing. Check for expired or damaged merchandise. Monitor inventory and communicate ordering needs. Keep the inside of the store clean and orderly. Keep the outside property, parking areas, sidewalks, and fuel island free of trash. Empty and remove trash as needed. Keep fuel pumps clean and presentable. Take initiative to identify and correct areas that need attention without waiting to be asked. Qualifications Reliable and dependable with good attendance. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Able to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities. Comfortable performing physical tasks such as lifting, stocking, bending, standing, walking, and moving merchandise. Able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments. Basic ability to read product labels, pricing information, and expiration dates. Previous convenience store, gas station, retail, stocking, inventory, or cleaning experience is a plus but not required. What We're Looking For We want someone who takes ownership and takes pride in the appearance of the store . The right person will notice when shelves are empty, products are out of place, prices are missing, merchandise is expired, trash needs to be taken out, or the pumps and grounds need attention—and will take care of it.
