Job Summary With over 50 years of experience, The Great Escape is the largest retailer of the leading home leisure products in the industry. We're dedicated to making your home your everyday great escape. We have 25 stores across the Midwest that the visual team travels to on a regular basis. The Visual team travels to one store per day and will typically work a 10-12 hour day depending on what is needed at that store that day. A typical work day will include traveling to the store, lifting and moving furniture, decorating displays, and maintaining cleanliness. The visual team visits our (6) Ohio stores 2-3 times per year, so overnight trips are to be expected. Before official hiring, you will have a trial work day to see if you are the right fit •Please note hours will vary, so you must have a flexible schedule. Responsibilities Develop and implement visually appealing merchandising strategies that align with brand guidelines. Create compelling displays in stores. Collaborate with store management to maintain consistent visual standards across all retail locations. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to enhance visual merchandising strategies. Maintain stores cleanliness. Conduct regular assessments of visual displays, making adjustments based on customer feedback and sales performance. Efficient and quick pace when working both independently and as part of a team. Replenish the sales floor regularly & maintain visual presentation & displays Experience Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser or similar role in a retail environment. Strong understanding of visual design and layout design principles. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Qualifications 18 years and older Highschool diploma or equivalent Must be able to lift and move furniture of 50 lbs or team lift 100 lbs or more as well as have excellent mobility(bending, pushing, lifting, etc). Have a creative mindset Willingness to work early mornings and/or some late nights. Ability to work as a team as well as independently and communicate product or layout issues and suggest solutions. Pay:

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
