Merchandising Specialist Help keep our grocery locations stocked, fresh, and ready for customers! As a Merchandising Specialist, you'll travel between EZ Mart grocery locations to deliver and merchandise meat and other products. You'll use a company-provided van to transport goods from grocery location to grocery location while helping ensure products are handled, stored, and displayed safely and properly. This is a hands-on role that combines local driving, merchandising, inventory management, and customer service. You'll work closely with store teams to keep meat departments organized, well-stocked, and ready for business. What You'll Do Drive a company-provided van between grocery locations to deliver meat and other productsLoad and unload products and safely transport them between locationsStock, rotate, and merchandise meat productsRemove outdated or unsellable products and maintain fresh, appealing displaysMaintain clean and organized meat cases, coolers, freezers, and work areasHelp receive deliveries and ensure products are stored properlyPlace price tags and promotional signsMonitor inventory and help ensure stores have the right products availableFollow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety proceduresMaintain safe temperatures in coolers and freezersWork safely in refrigerated and freezer environmentsAssist customers with questions about meat products, availability, and special ordersReport equipment concerns or temperature issues to managementFollow applicable food safety regulations and company standardsComplete required training and follow all safety procedures What We're Looking For Valid Chauffeur's License requiredHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in grocery, meat, food service, merchandising, delivery, or inventory is helpful but not requiredStrong planning, organization, and communication skillsA customer-focused attitude and ability to work well with store teamsAbility to work in refrigerated and freezer environmentsServSafe certification is preferredComfortable using basic inventory and sales information to help support product availability and sales Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to climb in and out of a delivery vehicleAbility to push and pull carts throughout a storeAbility to stand, bend, stoop, and move throughout the workdayAbility to work for extended periods in refrigerated and freezer environments If you enjoy staying active, working independently, traveling locally between store locations, and making sure customers have access to fresh, quality products, this could be a great opportunity for you! #bchpij
