1 Role Description As a Merchandiser Operations , you will lead seasonal product strategy and line planning for the underwear and sleepwear businesses within The Underwear Group (TUG). You will develop and manage seasonal line plans, ensuring assortments align with brand direction, consumer needs, and global business objectives. You will work closely with Design, Product Development, Supply, Sales, and regional merchandising teams to bring products from concept through market launch while supporting key merchandising KPIs, including SKU productivity, development efficiency, and regional adoption. Key Responsibilities Develop seasonal product strategies aligned with brand direction and consumer needs across underwear and sleepwear categories. Build and manage seasonal line plans across the Tommy Hilfiger and Nike brands. Partner with Design to guide product concepts and prepare seasonal adoption decks for regional partners. Serve as a global liaison across regional teams from product concept through market launch. Gather regional product feedback and align line architecture and assortment decisions. Provide product knowledge and support to global Marketing and regional Sales teams. Create and maintain seasonal line sheets, including style details and pricing. Partner with Sales during market appointments and prepare CADs for NuOrder uploads. Establish and manage seasonal product calendars, including sample deadlines, market milestones, and order due dates. Order, track, and manage seasonal samples and ensure showroom readiness. Monitor and report on merchandising KPIs, including SKU productivity, development rates, and regional adoption. Maintain merchandising systems and tools, including Centric PLM and line matrix updates. Identify business opportunities and use data and market insights to support merchandising decisions. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and regional teams to ensure successful product execution. Qualifications 3-4 years of experience in Merchandising and Product Development, ideally within the underwear category. Bachelor's degree in Merchandising or a related field. Strong product sense and experience developing commercially viable assortments. Experience partnering with Design and Product Development teams. Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data for line planning and KPI tracking. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence decision-making and collaborate effectively across functions. Experience with merchandising systems and tools; knowledge of Centric PLM and NuOrder is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Important Requirements Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and eligible for W2 employment. Must be located in or able to commute to New York, NY for the required on-site schedule.
