Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Retail Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products are displayed effectively in retail locations, maintaining inventory levels, This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with store personnel and management. This is a part time Merchandising position at Joint Base Fort Lewis/McCord AFB , 30+ hours weekly. In this position you will stock merchandise, conduct inventories and ensure the store has the necessary merchandise to conduct business. You will work independently on a flexible schedule you determine based on store needs. This position supports all Fort Lewis/ McCord AFB. Base access required. Opprotunities for Supervisory advancement.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Maintain a professional working rapport with store management. Become familiar with tactical gear and assist management in determining need of new/varied items. Keep sales floor stocked and maintain organized backstock; identify and adjust over and understocked items with corporate office. Facilitate special order items and assist customers as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of merchandise displays to enhance the shopping experience. Conduct regular inventory checks to manage stock levels and identify any discrepancies. Follow base regulations at all times and retain a professional appearance and attitude.

Minimum Qualifications:

Base access or ability to obtain legal base access Strong communication skills Strong technical skills Previous merchandising, vendor, retail, or customer service experience preferred; volunteer experience also welcome Occasionally be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
