Evansville Harley-Davidson is looking for a motivated, energetic General Merchandise (Motorclothes) Manager to lead our Apparel & Licensing department. This is an opportunity to build a high-performing team, create an outstanding shopping experience, and help riders find everything they need—from riding gear and helmets to casual apparel and accessories. What You'll Do As the General Merchandise Manager, you'll lead all aspects of the department, including: Drive department sales and profitability while achieving monthly and annual goals. Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing retail sales team. Create a culture focused on outstanding customer service and sales excellence. Monitor key performance metrics and implement strategies to increase revenue. Maintain exceptional visual merchandising, product presentation, and inventory organization. Ensure merchandise is well-stocked, displayed, and promoted according to dealership and Harley-Davidson standards. Build lasting customer relationships that generate repeat business and referrals. Resolve customer concerns professionally while reinforcing our commitment to exceptional service. Manage department scheduling, daily operations, and team accountability. Control departmental expenses while meeting budget objectives. Partner with dealership leadership to execute promotions, events, and seasonal merchandising strategies. Perform additional leadership responsibilities as assigned. What We're Looking For Retail sales management experience is required. Experience leading, coaching, and developing retail teams. Strong sales mindset with a track record of achieving performance goals. Ability to analyze sales reports, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Comfortable using computers and retail point-of-sale systems.
