Job Description

Job Overview Join our growing team at Jimmy Smith Buick GMC in Athens, Alabama as a Parts Advisor! We are seeking an energetic and organized Parts Advisor to support our busy GMC and Buick service department and retail counter. If you are a detail-oriented professional with automotive parts experience and want to work with modern technology like Tekion, we want to hear from you.

Salary:

What You Will Do:

Utilize Tekion DMS to manage, track, and order inventory. Look up OEM parts using electronic catalogs for GMC and Buick vehicles. Efficiently source and supply components for technician repair orders to keep shop flow moving. Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to retail and wholesale counter customers. Receive, log, and organize incoming warehouse shipments, ensuring accuracy.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience:

1+ years of automotive parts experience preferred (GMC/Buick or GM experience is a major plus but not required).

Systems:

Hands-on experience with Tekion DMS is highly valued, but we will train the right candidate with strong computer skills.

Skills:

Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.

Physical:

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

License:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (Required) Full-time hours are 7:30 to 5:30 Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays. If you work on Saturday, you are off the following Friday for a 3 day weekend. How to
