Martin Company, a manufacturer of machinery for the Corrugated Container industry with machinery operating in over 60 countries, has an opening for a full-time position in our Parts Dept. To apply for this position you must live within the San Francisco Bay Area. Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Description of duties: Working under the direction of the Parts Manager, the Parts Technician will: Respond to customer parts request via phone and email Quote parts orders/prices via phone and/or email Input Parts Order information into the company invoicing system Pull Parts for shipping Carry a "Company Cell Phone" and be available, (on a rotating basis) to handle emergency parts orders outside normal business hours.(you are compensated for this)

Skills Required:

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written Good computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel Basic understanding of typical machinery components and terms:

EX:

bearings, pulleys, motors, etc. is a plus Be both patient and helpful with customers who may no longer have good machinery documentation and need help in determining the part needed. Sales background in parts.

Compensation:

Salary position, to be determined based on experience and qualification. Additional compensation for after-hours customer support.
