Escondido, CA Job Details Full-time $26.49 - $31.90 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Employee discount Life insurance Qualifications Computer operation Driver's License Attention to detail Organizational skills Order picking Full Job Description Parts Ordering & Receiving Assist with ordering parts as directed by the Parts Manager Receive and inspect incoming parts for accuracy and damage Verify quantities, part numbers, and orders Report discrepancies or damaged shipments promptly Verify with the Parts Manager which vendors should be used before ordering parts Inventory Management Organize, label, and stock parts in their proper locations Monitor inventory levels and notify the Parts Manager when stock is low Maintain accurate inventory records in the system Assist with daily and weekly cycle counts Assist with monthly inventory counts and audits Determine appropriate locations for new parts and relocate existing inventory as needed to maintain an organized and efficient parts department Maintain accurate bin and inventory locations when parts are moved Technician & Shop Support Pull and deliver parts to technicians in a timely manner Respond promptly to technician parts requests Help identify and locate required parts Ensure used parts are returned and cores are properly tracked Drive to local vendors or suppliers to pick up parts as needed Returns & Vendor Support Prepare parts for returns and warranty claims Track outstanding returns and credits Follow up with vendors as directed by the Parts Manager Communicate professionally with vendors and suppliers Administrative & Department Support Assist with purchase orders, data entry, and parts-related paperwork Keep the parts department clean, organized, and safe Maintain accurate records and documentation Assist the Parts Manager with other department needs as required Qualifications Automotive, diesel, heavy-duty, or mechanical parts experience preferred Basic computer and data-entry skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to follow established purchasing and inventory procedures Dependable and able to manage multiple tasks Willingness to learn and take initiative Ability to work effectively with technicians, management, and vendors Valid California driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
