Your energetic approach and customer-centric attitude will drive sales, provide expert advice, and ensure a seamless experience for our clients. You will manage inventory, assist customers with their automotive needs, and support the overall operation of the parts counter. Your enthusiasm for automotive repair and excellent communication skills will help build lasting relationships with customers and team members alike. This role offers a dynamic environment where your mechanical knowledge and sales expertise can truly shine! Duties Greet customers warmly, assess their automotive needs, and provide expert recommendations on parts and accessories Assist customers in locating parts using inventory management systems and automotive diagnostics tools Manage inventory control, including stocking shelves, order fulfillment, and maintaining accurate records in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software Handle POS (Point of Sale) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing credit card payments Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, product knowledge, and personalized service Collaborate with the service team to support vehicle maintenance and repair needs by providing appropriate parts and troubleshooting guidance Maintain a clean, organized counter area while adhering to safety protocols and inventory standards Skills Extensive knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, vehicle systems, and automotive repair processes Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills combined with automotive diagnostics expertise Proven ability to negotiate sales effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes Experience with retail sales management, inventory management systems, POS operations, and stock control procedures Ability to build rapport with diverse customers through exceptional customer service skills Familiarity with dealership operations, automotive parts sales strategies, and retail math for order fulfillment accuracy Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and automotive diagnostics techniques Organizational skills to manage stock levels efficiently while maintaining accurate records in CMMS or similar systems Join us as a Counterperson where your passion for automobiles meets your talent for sales!
