This position serves as the day-to-day link between the customer and PSI Repair Services. You will track industrial equipment and components through the repair process, maintain accurate records, communicate repair status, coordinate shipments and priorities, and help identify opportunities to reduce the customer's maintenance and repair costs. The position is a good fit for someone with experience in MRO, manufacturing, industrial maintenance, inventory or materials coordination, purchasing, repair coordination, customer service, or warehouse operations who enjoys working directly with customers and keeping multiple projects organized. PSI calls this service Repairable Asset Control (RAC®) . RAC helps industrial customers manage repairable MRO equipment and components, including the repair, replacement and manufacture of obsolete or legacy equipment. What You Will Do Serve as the primary day-to-day PSI contact for customer personnel regarding repairable MRO assets. Track equipment and components from removal or identification through shipment, repair and return to the customer. Maintain accurate records of asset location, repair status, shipping information and outstanding actions. Coordinate with PSI customer service, sales, repair operations and other personnel to keep repairs moving. Communicate repair status, expected completion dates, shipment information and other updates to customer personnel. Identify equipment that may be repairable rather than replaced and help uncover opportunities to reduce MRO costs. Assist customers with questions concerning repair status, pricing, shipments, quantities and service. Prepare regular reports showing repair activity, open issues and documented customer cost savings. Participate in meetings with customer maintenance, purchasing, engineering or management personnel as appropriate. Follow up on outstanding repairs, quotations, approvals and other items requiring customer or PSI action. Help resolve discrepancies involving equipment identification, documentation, shipments or repair status. Maintain a professional working relationship with customer personnel while representing PSI Repair Services. Follow established PSI quality procedures and customer site requirements. What We Are Looking For Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable managing multiple open items and following them through completion. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate professionally with customers, technicians, purchasing personnel and management. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel. Comfortable entering, maintaining and retrieving information from computer databases or business systems. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds when necessary. Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following areas is helpful: MRO or industrial maintenance operations. Manufacturing or industrial environments. Repair coordination or equipment service. Inventory, materials or parts coordination. Purchasing or procurement support. Customer service or account coordination. Warehouse, shipping or receiving operations. ERP, asset-management, inventory-management or other database systems. Direct experience with industrial repair is helpful but not required . We are willing to consider candidates with strong organizational and customer-service skills who understand how to coordinate work in a manufacturing or industrial environment. What Success Looks Like A successful MRO Asset & Repair Coordinator will: Know where the customer's repairable assets are and what stage of the repair process they are in. Follow open items through completion rather than allowing issues to stall. Provide accurate and timely information to the customer. Develop productive relationships with customer personnel and PSI employees. Identify opportunities to save the customer money through repair, reuse or other alternatives to replacement. Maintain accurate records and reporting. Help make it easier for the customer to do business with PSI.
