Parts Reports to:
Parts Manager Purpose:
Provides in-house parts support to the service department.
Responsibilities:
Supplies Service Techs with parts, as required. Prepares parts for service calls, making sure all supplies are ready. Return any parts not used on service calls into parts inventory. Unload new and used equipment - inspect equipment for damage and note any shortages. Order parts for 2M warehouse and receipt in properly. Maintain the tech tool room, locating and ordering tools for techs. Maintain parts warranty bin and ship out recalled parts. Maintain inventory on shop oil and supplies. Handle attachments for new tag setups for shop work. Review BO reports from JDPoint orders submitted daily & communicate back to service manager. Make sure parts are placed on correct work order segments. Reviews work orders for parts missing or placed on wrong segments before RO is closed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
At least 1 year experience in Parts Department operations preferred. Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions. Ability to work extended hours and weekends. Excellent customer service skills. High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to analyze and interpret basic Parts Department reports.
