We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Auto Parts Counterman to join our team and support our service and sales departments with top-tier parts expertise.
Job Description:
As an Auto Parts Counterman, you will be the go-to expert for our customers and technicians, providing exceptional service in sourcing, selling, and managing automotive parts. You will play a critical role in ensuring our service department operates efficiently and our customers receive the highest quality parts for their Audi vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers and service technicians in identifying, locating, and ordering automotive parts. Process parts sales, including retail, wholesale, and internal orders, with accuracy and efficiency. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock replenishment and organization. Provide exceptional customer service, answering inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email. Collaborate with the service and sales teams to ensure timely availability of parts. Stay updated on Audi parts, accessories, and industry trends to provide expert recommendations. Process returns, warranties, and special orders in compliance with dealership policies. Assisting with parts deliveries, including driving responsibilities
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in automotive technology a plus. 1+ years of experience in an auto parts department, preferably with luxury or European brands like Audi. Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems; familiarity with Audi parts is a plus. Proficiency with parts inventory software (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds) and basic computer skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
