This role is critical to ensuring efficient parts procurement, inventory accuracy, and seamless coordination between estimators, technicians, and vendors. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the importance of accuracy, timeliness, and accountability in driving shop productivity and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Order, receive, and verify parts for collision repair jobs in alignment with repair estimates Inspect all incoming parts for accuracy, quality, and damage; report discrepancies immediately Label, organize, and stage parts by repair order (RO) to ensure efficient workflow Coordinate with estimators and technicians to ensure correct parts are ordered and available on time Process returns, core credits, and warranty parts in a timely and accurate manner Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts as needed Communicate with vendors and suppliers to track orders and resolve issues Ensure parts carts and storage areas are clean, organized, and properly labeled Follow all company policies, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines Perform other duties as assigned by management to support overall body shop operations Qualifications Prior experience in an automotive body shop or parts department. Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills; experience with estimating or inventory systems is a plus Strong communication and teamwork skills Valid driver's license required Must have a clean driving record Must be able to lift up to 50lbs when needed Must be able to work in a loud shop environment Must be able to move vehicles safely Core Competencies Accountability and ownership mindset Time management and sense of urgency Problem-solving and adaptability Team collaboration and communication Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Opportunities for growth and advancement Supportive team environment Best Auto Body Management LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
