Overview HVAC Counter Sales Associate Starting Pay:

Arlington, VA, Merrifield, VA A leading supplier in the commercial and industrial HVAC industry is seeking a motivated and experienced Counter Sales Associate to join their growing branch team. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity through Express Employment Professionals , a trusted staffing partner that works closely with this client to place reliable, qualified candidates into long-term roles. You'll work at our client's branch directly with companies and contractors seeking to place orders for the HVAC parts and equipment they need while supporting branch sales goals. This role combines customer service, sales, and warehouse support , so strong communication, organization, and computer skills are important. What You'll Do Assist contractors with HVAC parts, equipment, and product recommendations Provide pricing, quotes, process orders, and handle returns Generate repeat business by building strong customer relationships Provide excellent service in person and by phone Support branch operations including stocking shelves and warehouse tasks, there are times you'll have to pull your own orders Use computer systems to look up parts and process orders Work closely with experienced HVAC customer service personnel and leadership Participate in ongoing product training What We're Looking For HVAC Counter Sales or Outside Sales experience strongly preferred Counter Sales experience for another trade would be acceptable Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable using computers to reference parts and process transactions Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn Strong organization and problem-solving skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with warehouse tasks; prior warehouse experience is helpful Basic math skills and attention to detail required Bilingual skills, Spanish and English, helpful Driver's License Required Benefits After Successful Evaluation 401(k) Health, dental, and vision insurance Disability insurance Profit sharing Paid vacation and sick leave This is a great opportunity to join a company that values teamwork, training, and long-term career growth in the HVAC industry.
