Costco Schedule:
20 hours/week — 4 hour shifts/day, 5 days/week (specific days and shift times to be arranged with Winery)

Costco Wholesale — 9 stores throughout the Bay Area Reports to: Steven Mirassou, Winemaker/Proprietor of The Steven Kent Winery. About the Role The Steven Kent Winery, located in the Livermore Valley and one of the foremost producers of Cab Franc in the United States, is looking for outgoing, personable Wine Demonstrators to engage members as they shop, introduce them to our wines, answer questions, and drive product sales — all while representing the winery/brand in a professional, friendly manner. Key Responsibilities Engage members with friendly, knowledgeable conversation about the wine's origin, tasting notes, food pairings, and value. Set up and break down the demo station daily, including table, signage, and product. Answer customer questions accurately and enthusiastically, tailoring your pitch to casual shoppers and wine enthusiasts alike. Track and report sales impact, inventory counts, and complimentary tasting passes distributed Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting demo area throughout the shift. Follow all Costco policies regarding food/beverage safety, member interaction, and warehouse operations. Communicate proactively with Costco management and winery Proprietor regarding scheduling, product shortages, or issues. Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older . Prior experience in sales, hospitality, retail, or customer service preferred. Comfortable speaking with strangers and initiating conversation in a high-traffic retail environment. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to stand for the full 4-hour shift and lift/carry up to 25-30 lbs (cases of wine, tables, equipment). Must pass any required background check .
Schedule & Compensation Hours:
20 hours per week, 4-hour shifts, 5 days per week (days to be confirmed — may include weekends).
Pay:
$19/hour.
Employment type:
Part-time, hourly, W-2, employed by The Steven Kent Winery. Consistent, predictable weekly schedule with potential for additional shifts during peak seasons (holidays). Eligible for employee discounts on wine and merchandise at Winery Tasting Room.
