Sales & Brand Ambassador Nevada City Winery Part-Time (2-3 Days per Week)

Nevada County & the I-80 Corridor Position Summary Nevada City Winery is seeking an outgoing, relationship-focused Sales & Brand Ambassador to represent our award-winning wines throughout Nevada County and the I-80 corridor. This role is about more than delivering wine—it's about building relationships, sharing our story, and helping our restaurant and retail partners succeed. The ideal candidate is passionate about wine, food, hospitality, and local businesses, with the ability to connect authentically with customers and represent our brand with professionalism and enthusiasm. As the face of Nevada City Winery in the marketplace, you will support existing wholesale partnerships while identifying opportunities to increase placements, strengthen relationships, and grow our presence throughout the region. This is a part-time position requiring approximately 2-3 days per week , with opportunities for additional responsibilities as the business continues to grow. Key Responsibilities Serve as a passionate ambassador for Nevada City Winery and our portfolio of handcrafted wines. Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant owners, wine buyers, chefs, retailers, and hospitality teams. Visit and support established wholesale partners throughout the assigned territory. Take orders, communicate partner needs, and provide excellent customer service. Coordinate and complete accurate wine deliveries. Merchandise products by stocking shelves, rotating inventory, building displays, and maintaining strong brand presentation. Identify opportunities to increase placements, visibility, and sales. Educate restaurant and retail teams about our wines, seasonal releases, and food pairings. Support wine dinners, tastings, promotional events, and partner activities. Maintain accurate records of visits, orders, deliveries, and sales activity. Share market feedback and customer insights with the winery team. Attend occasional evening or weekend events as needed. Preferred Qualifications & Skills Experience in wine, beverage, hospitality, restaurant, retail, or outside sales preferred. Genuine passion for wine, food, hospitality, and supporting local businesses. Strong relationship-building and communication skills. Comfortable networking and representing a premium winery brand. Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently. Organized with strong attention to detail. Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and basic computer applications. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to safely lift and carry 45+ pounds, including loading and unloading wine cases. Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record. Must be at least 21 years of age. About Nevada City Winery Nevada City Winery is the oldest operating winery in Nevada County. Since opening in 1980, we have crafted award-winning wines that showcase the character of the Sierra Foothills using predominantly locally sourced grapes.
