Full Job Description Who We Are:

Founded on Clearwater Beach in 1976, Freaky Tiki Surf Shack is a locally owned beachwear and lifestyle retailer with deep roots in Tampa Bay's surf culture. Our St. Pete Beach location brings that legacy to a restored, century old building that once served as a gathering place for local surfers since 2015.

Who You Are:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused beach lover who embraces our longstanding brand and unique, locally curated merchandise. As a brand ambassador, you will be the face of Freaky Tiki, providing exceptional customer service, maintaining an inviting store and efficiently handling transactions. This role offers the opportunity to become part of the St. Pete Beach surf community and its history while connecting with locals and visitors from around the world.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Welcome customers, answer questions and offer helpful product recommendations.

Sales Transactions:

Process cash, credit, debit and other payments accurately using the point of sale system.

Cash Accountability:

Maintain accurate cash counts and a balanced drawer throughout each shift.

Merchandising:

Restock, organize and maintain attractive product displays.

Store Appearance:

Maintain a clean, organized and inviting environment throughout each shift, including the sales floor, counters, displays and fitting areas.

Promotions and Sales:

Share current promotions and recommend complementary merchandise.

Teamwork:

Support inventory counts, restocking and store opening and closing procedures.

Requirements Customer Service:

Friendly, approachable and committed to creating an outstanding customer experience.

Communication:

Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills. Attention to

Accuracy when handling cash, processing transactions and maintaining merchandise.

Experience:

Retail sales: 1 year (Required) Hours to fill: Fridays 3pm
