SCOPE OF WORK

\nSoftware Architect role for the Testbed platform development:\nAct as a resident technical subject matter expert for the Testbed platform.\nAnalyze the platform's evolutionary needs and understand the customer use cases, in active collaboration with the IEEE management team.\nWork with staff and volunteer steering committees and advisory committees to develop the long-term technical roadmap for the product.\nConduct training or demonstrations with new and potential customers - either 1-on-1, or 1-tomany at industry events or online.\nPromote the platform at industry events as needed/requested.\nParticipate in sales calls as needed to provide technical expertise.\nCreate and manage user accounts of the Testbed platform; onboard, support and train new users.\nBreak down business problems into value-added deliverable increments.\nApprove user stories, managing and prioritizing the technical teams' backlog while maintaining\nthe conceptual and technical integrity of the product/feature requirements.\nParticipate in agile ceremonies (sprint reviews and retrospectives) to plan incremental releases and defining release objectives.\nProvide support for test automation and story acceptance criteria.\nAccept/Reject user stories in the release baseline.\nOversee the process of software development, deployment of new elements and continuous integration of the Testbed platform.\n

Client & Customer Engagement:

Participate in client and customer meetings, conduct technical onboarding sessions, and resolve technical issues.\n

Requirements & Roadmap Management:

Gather and analyze requirements, create roadmaps for future development, and manage sprints, backlogs, and acceptance criteria for the TechM design team.\n

Testbed Platform Development & Integration:

Identify tools for testbed integration, monitor open-source updates to upgrade the platform as needed, monitor 3GPP releases for new features and functionalities, create testbeds in AWS for trials and subscribers.

Note:

Need to bring AI and Phsical layer research (Massive MIMO, Beam forming, Ray tracing, channel optimizations etc) capabilties to the Testbed as we need to align for 6G research and development\n

Optimization & Industry Engagement:

Provide continuous improvements to the testbed platform, implement cost-optimization mechanisms in AWS, and participate in IEEE events.\n
