Position:

Part-Time, 2-3 full days per week, Monday-Friday, 9 am until 5-6 pm. No weekends. About Us Hunter & Hilsberg is a "small-batch" specialty maker of fruit spreads, jams, jellies, chutneys, preserves and sauces supplying gourmet stores, farm markets, grocery and food service customers throughout the country. What You'll Do As much an art as it is a science, you will work with a small team providing support, facilitating all aspects of turning simple ingredients into shelf-stable, high quality, old-school-style preserves and fruit spreads. You will assist in product preparation, following process formulations, cooking, packaging, record-keeping and cleaning in accordance with Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) principles. Expectations Candidates should be available to work 2-3 full days per week, Mondays through Fridays, between 9 am until completion of each day's batch close-out (ca. 5-6 pm) and have the following attributes: Able to lift 30-50 pounds, repeatedly Able to stand for extended periods of time Detail-oriented Able to work cooperatively with others Positive & encouraging to others Cleanliness & Timeliness Self-motivating to operate efficiently This position is available for those 18 years of age or older.
