Leasing Consultant | Juneau, AK | $22 to $26 per hour | Full-time, Monday to Friday Wright Services, Inc. has managed apartments and mobile home communities across Alaska since 1982. We are a family-run company headquartered right here in Juneau, and we are hiring a Leasing Consultant to be the first point of contact for every prospective resident in our Juneau portfolio. This is a people-first role. You will show homes, guide applicants through screening and move-in, and keep our current residents informed and taken care of. If you enjoy helping people find a place to live, can stay organized across many open leads at once, and understand that a lease is both a relationship and a legal document, we want to hear from you.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Leasing and showings Respond to every inquiry by phone, email, text, and online listing within one business day Schedule and conduct showings of studio through three bedroom apartments and mobile home park lots, in all Juneau weather Know the details of every available unit and lot: floor plan, utilities, parking, pet policy, and what makes each property a good fit Follow up with prospects until they apply, decline, or go quiet, and log every touch in AppFolio Applications and move-ins Walk applicants through the application, collect complete documentation, and run screening (rental history, income verification, references, background) consistently for every applicant Prepare lease agreements, addenda, and move-in paperwork for manager review and signature Explain security deposits, rent due dates, late fees, utility responsibilities, and house rules clearly before move-in Complete move-in inspections with the new resident and document unit condition with photos Resident relations and retention Serve as a friendly, reliable contact for current residents on lease questions, renewals, and general requests Route maintenance requests to the maintenance team through AppFolio and confirm residents get a response Support lease renewals, including outreach ahead of expiration and preparing renewal offers Help resolve concerns early and escalate to the Property Manager when a situation calls for it Marketing and administration Keep online listings accurate, current, and well photographed Track leads, showings, applications, and conversion so we know what is working Maintain complete, organized resident files and keep AppFolio records accurate Assist with rent collection follow up and delinquency notices as directed Walk vacant units and lots to confirm they are show ready and flag anything that is not
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Required One or more years of customer service, sales, hospitality, or office experience; leasing or property management experience is a strong plus
Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
