Job Description

Job Summary The Resident Relations Associate serves as a key representative of our community and an advocate for current and prospective residents. This role is instrumental in maintaining high occupancy levels, achieving financial goals, and ensuring a positive living experience through effective leasing, marketing, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Handle all leasing functions for the community, including marketing, resident qualification, and leasing administration. Maximize occupancy and market rent by effectively qualifying prospects, verifying applications, and preparing lease documents. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to rental inquiries, scheduling tours, and assisting applicants throughout the leasing process. Maintain accurate and organized lease files, reports, and prospect records. Demonstrate community value and features to potential residents while maintaining communication regarding apartment availability. Monitor market trends and competitor properties to adjust leasing and marketing strategies as needed. Perform regular property inspections, including model and rent-ready apartments, ensuring a clean and inviting presentation. Maintain detailed phone logs, guest cards, and prospect waitlists , with consistent follow-up to convert leads. Prepare and submit timely reports to corporate, including weekly and Sunday reports, delinquency logs, market surveys, rent summaries, and lease renewals. Support team goals by reporting community appearance issues and contributing to a high-quality living environment. Achieve an average phone shop score of 80% or higher and maintain at least one net rental per week. Qualifications Previous experience in property management, leasing, or customer service preferred. Strong communication, sales, and organizational skills. Professional demeanor with the ability to interact effectively with residents and prospects. Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Yardi, or similar systems preferred). High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
