Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced Apartment Leasing Consultant to join our dynamic property management team. In this energetic role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your expertise in property leasing, customer service, and administrative management will drive occupancy rates and foster positive relationships with residents. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence in property management. Responsibilities Greet prospective tenants warmly and provide comprehensive tours of available apartment units, highlighting features and community amenities. Manage lease or rental agreement processes accurately using property management tools such as ResMan and CRM tools, ensuring all documentation complies with Fair Housing regulations and legal standards. Conduct thorough resident screening, including background checks, credit reports, and employment & rental verification, to select qualified residents. Handle client communication professionally via phone, email, text and in person, addressing inquiries promptly and building strong relationships. Perform follow up with prospective residents in engaging and effective ways. With training, outreach to businesses and build business relationships for referrals. Discuss lease terms effectively while maintaining compliance with company policies, landlord-tenant law and fair housing regulations. Maintain detailed records of leasing activities, data entry, filing, and contract management within property management systems. Collaborate with team members to meet occupancy goals, upsell available units or amenities, and contribute to overall property success through excellent customer service. Skills Proficiency with property management software, and other property management tools. Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations. Extensive experience in real estate administrative tasks including data entry, filing, contract management, and office procedures. Exceptional customer service skills combined with effective phone etiquette and client communication abilities. Ability to manage conflict professionally while resolving resident concerns or disputes efficiently. Skilled in negotiation strategies for lease agreements and upselling opportunities to maximize revenue. Experience in property maintenance coordination, customer service and resident relations within a property management setting. Demonstrated team work capabilities along with strong organizational skills for multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Hours are weekdays and most Saturdays per month with a day off during the week. Closed Sundays! Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
